| 808 Dive
The 808 team is dedicating this shirt in memory of Bryan Toshio Nakano. Bryan was the number one member of Aloha 808 and dedicated a lot of his time and energy into building this company. He created designs, helped manufacture clothing, traveled to many of the shows, and motivated everyone around him. He was a friend to everyone he met, and we were blessed to have him in our lives. To honor Bryan’s memory and spirit, we will dedicate a new design to him every year. This year’s design “808 Dive” is a honu (or Hawaiian sea turtle), which is a symbol of longevity, peace, humility and the spirit within. And although Bryan’s life was cut short, he will forever remain in our hearts.
The profits from 808 Dive will be contributed to the Bryan Nakano Memorial Fund established through the L.A. Harbor College Foundation (Wilmington, California) for the benefit of the school’s architecture students. |
